The Charity

With your help we aim to raise in excess of £75,000 to contribute towards the work of the international orphan charity, SOS Children’s Villages (Reg. Charity No. 1069204)

SOS Children’s main role is to provide a new family for children who are alone and vulnerable: AIDS orphans, street children, child soldiers and children orphaned by conflict, poverty, illness or natural disasters. Children are provided with a home, a family and a new mother in a purpose-built local village, where they are nurtured until they are ready for independent life.

We are working closely with SOS Children to ensure that The Sugarplum Ball makes a unique contribution to the lives of hundreds of children, and that your part in this night will visibly change lives. Funds raised will go towards the construction of a family house in the new SOS Children’s Village in Chipata, Zambia.
